Q:  What does Ray need to play in a venue?

A:  Just one 13 amp plug within 5 metres of where he is playing.

For quieter venues he can use one discrete acoustic amplifier or
none at all for a truly acoustic set. For larger premises he provides
his own PA system.

He uses a 'looper' device which records what he plays and then
plays it back.  This allows Ray to play percussion and what sounds
like two guitar parts at the same time without resorting to backing
tapes i.e. keeping it 'live'.

All of Ray's mains-powered equipment is PAT (Portable Appliance Test)
tested in accordance with government regulations and he carries full
Public Liability Insurance.  Certificates for both are available on request.

Ray does not play louder than necessary or use backing tracks.
